Diagnostic ultrasound training

HealthTree already has a close relationship with Clinical Officer Rodgers at Potter’s Village Medical Centre, as he carries out the monthly nutrition visits that we fund. Now we have agreed to fund his participation in an intensive part-time training course in diagnostic ultrasound in Kampala over the next three years. The expertise that Rodgers develops through this training will enable increased and more sophisticated use of ultrasound equipment at the Medical Centre and other facilities for the benefit of the wider community.

Rodgers says “You have made my dream come true…and I hope to be more useful to the community I serve in”.
