We welcome volunteers to support our Chesham-based operations, and donations to support out work
Donate
Monthly donations are always welcome to enable us to continue to fund some work on a monthly basis, such as:
- nutrition workers going into the community
- physios working with disabled children
- regular small items of medical equipment for Potter’s Village Medical Centre
Larger amounts and one-off donations have previously paid for:
- electricity mains connection, rainwater harvesting tank, flushing toilets and warm showers at Rutaka Health Centre and Maternity Unit
- oxygen-giving machines for both Potter’s Village Med Centre and Rutaka Health Centre
- a centrifuge and an infant resuscitation table for Rutaka Health Centre
- equipment for the community nutrition nurse.
Volunteering
- Donate medical equipment (please contact us first to check suitability)
- To help out at fund-raising events, or donate unwanted gifts for our Christmas stall
- Help occasionally with packing up parcels to post out to Uganda
- Organise your own fundraising events, e.g. sales of craft or jam – and contact us for fliers about HealthTree.
