Health and nutrition visits
A member of the clinical team continues to make regular visits to remote villages, funded by HealthTree.
In June 2023 we were told “Since I started doing these visits we have had ten new patients who have both malnutrition and disability come to Potters Village for help, and four patients with whom we had lost contact have come back for review and are now doing well.”
We were also told about a malnourished child who also has cerebral palsy and is his mother’s sixth child.
At the mother’s request, guidance on birth control was given to her husband and it is hopeful that mutual understanding will help them to avoid exacerbating their poverty.
